Extend your stay Sunday mornings by an hour and join us for the formation class Revelation: It’s Not What You Think (Probably).
Led by me the class begins this Sunday, September 12, following worship. The class will meet in the education wing.
What was the world of the Christians like in late first-century CE? Why was a book like Revelation necessary? Did its message scare the bejabbers out of our ancestors in the faith? Is it designed to do so for us or those who do not hold our beliefs? Why does the history channel run so many programs about this book of the Bible?
Extend your stay for an hour each Sunday from September 12 – ?. Gain a new world of understanding about your faith. Be surprised and pleased by the relevancy of Revelation for Christians today.
