Jamison Selected for Two Ministries

Congratulations to Aaron Jamison who has been elected to serve a 3-year term on the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Young Adult Commission. In addition, he has been selected to participate in the Babel Table experience.
The Young Adult Commission (YAC) works at all levels of our denomination (congregational, regional, general) in building effective communication networks, providing advocacy opportunities, and enabling young adults to lead our church.
YAC members participate in conference calls as well as retreats throughout the year. Additional information about the work and structure of YAC can be found at http://www.discipleshomemission.org/pages/DoCYA.
Babel Table is a four-day conference of 15 young adults. Diversity is the focus of the conference. The conference will be held at Yakama Christian Mission in White Swan, Washington, June 2011.
